In Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, first photos of Okapi from nature have been captured with camera traps. The Okapi is a very shy and rare animal and because of this in conventional surveys only droppings were recorded, but the survey of the Zoological society of London was successful - you can sees the photographs on theyr website: http://www.zsl.org/field-conservation/news/first-ever-pictures-of-africas-unicorn,514,NS.html
After we were all frightened by the idea of a black hole swallowing us, we can congratulate to the great scientists from CERN for the successful first beam in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

…I’m sometimes a little bit lazy, but I hope my blogging wont stop because of this. This is my first post after I found the sites design good enough
I built the pages in html code and styled them with a css file. Then I installed WordPress and transformed the html pages to a theme package. You see the result.
First it was supposed to be in red,

but I found a really nice image made by Bill Frymire, that I exposed at the page header - then the theme went blue. I like Bills ideas and images very much, so have a look at his portfolio at http://www.billfrymire.com

Welcome to my blog. This is a test post.
I will start blogging soon.
